That"s what it said on my waitresses T-Shirt. This is of course referring to Charlotte"s best place for wings, DD Peckers Wing Shack! (What did you think I meant you dirty little pervert") I feel it necessary to write a review of this establishment, because I have eaten there 3 or 4 times over the course of July. I had an excellent experience with each visit.
DD Peckers is located on the Park Rd extension in the shopping center across the street from the Park Cedar Showmars. It really lives up to the definition of neighborhood bar. There is nothing extraordinary about the décor" some televisions, a big screen, a golden tee machine, neon beer signs, various license plates, and other knick knacks you might find decorating a bar. What is extraordinary is THE FOOD and THE SERVICE!
They aren"t kidding when they say they have the best wings in Charlotte. These guys give Wild Wing Café, Wing Stop, Wing Zone, and Hooters a big kick in the ass! They boast 20+ different delectable flavors. For the spicy freaks, there is Blazing, and they are excellent! This is probably one of the best "buffalo sauce" recipes I have EVER tasted. Any jackass can make a sauce hot, but it takes talent to create a sauce that is hot and flavorful. This is definitely the perfect blend of flavor and heat! Do you like Honey Mustard wings" I guarantee you have never had anything like the ones at Peckers! Usually when I order honey mustard wings at the other places, the sauce is thin and runny, and the taste is practically non-existent. Not the case here! Peckers uses the good stuff! I"m talking the rich and creamy kind you would want to dip your french fries in. I wish I had the time to go in detail with each flavor, but I have lots more to cover. Peckers offers more than just wings. My favorite is the Philly Steak on the AMOROSO Rolls! That is a tasty sandwich.
You can see their whole menu here:

I noted some consistencies on my multiple visits:
1) The food always comes out STEAMING HOT! I mean you have to wait about a minute before you can touch it. I like this because the meal stays warm longer.
2) The service is super friendly.
3) They always serve drinks in the "Big Gulp" size. There is nothing I hate more than going to a place that serves spicy food, and getting an 8 oz glass of sweet tea, and having to have my glass refilled 7 to 10 times.
4) It really is a "neighborhood" type atmosphere. Everyone seems to know everyone, but new faces are always welcome.
I also found that DD Peckers has a lot of nightlife related activities as well. On weekends they have a live band. On my last visit there were flyers for the band Basikly which played this past Saturday. This band has received some great comments from you guys on their CNL account:

On Sundays the best beer in the world, Miller Lite, is only a buck! On Monday"s they have a Texas Hold"em Tournament which generally has 30-40 people playing. Wednesday is trivia night. I had dinner there on a trivia night and they had the traffic woman from News 14 running it.
So as you can see DD Peckers Wing Shack has it all; fun, great Food, and great service. I highly recommend visiting them!
