  Most people that drive by Morehead St. Tavern only see a small restaurant bar. These people are defiantly reading a book by its cover. Morehead St. Tavern is WAY more than meets the eye. Come in, sit down, and have a beer. (A Miller Lite preferably.) Meet the staff, walk around, and see how big this place really is!

  The menu rocks! Good southern selection of eats including old school favorites like Grilled Cheese, Morehead Burger, and S.O.B Pizza (South of the Border). I am a buffalo chicken fanatic so I tried the Fried Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. This is a huge sandwich deep fried and buffalo sauce drenched with bleu cheese crumbles, lettuce and tomatoes.   Food isn"t the only treasure at Morehead St. Tavern. There are plenty of pool tables to enjoy a game or two with some friends or a huge outdoor patio to have a quiet couple of drinks with a date.

  New to Morehead St. Tavern is Charlotte"s only weekend college night! Each and every Saturday night, 18 and up are welcome at Morehead. Come out and enjoy the cheapest drink specials in town on a Saturday night. Mix and mingle with the familiar faces from UNCC, Queens College, and Belmont Abby!
