So you think you can dance" But can you do it on ice" Auditions for the #1 Dance Team in the ECHL are coming up on August 20th. Don"t miss your chance to be a part of exciting Professional Cheerleading!! What: CheckMates Auditions The Dance and Promotions Team of the Charlotte Checkers Who: Female dancers/cheerleaders 18 yrs + Where: Next Step Dance Studio in Concord located near Concord Mills Mall. Pitts School Business Park 525-B Pitt School Road Concord, NC 28027 When: Sunday, August 20th Time: 11am-5 pm Registration at 10:00 am (registration forms/medical release to be filled out upon arrival) Attire: Dance Pants or Shorts/Midriff top/Dance shoes or tennis shoes. Glamorous Hair and Makeup. Format: Dancers will learn a series of “ice friendly” dance combinations. Cuts will be made after each round. Team will be selected at the end of the day on Sunday. What to bring: Water/Snacks/Drivers license Season: Checkers hockey season starts in October and runs thru the spring. Rehearsals and appearances begin in late August.
