  As we all have noticed here in Raleigh, Hillsborough Street is getting its act together with new clubs, bars, restaurants, and above all new places to spend our money. I just wanted to take the time to tell you about a brand new shop here on our own Hillsborough Street thats making waves. In The Wave Surf and Skate, quickly on its way to being a common name in your college dorm room, specializes in all the newest surf gear including JS and Schaper Boards for your trips down to the OBX or Wrightsville Beach. They carry the hottest clothes from Billabong, Dragon and Dakine, along with local designs from AHPeele and A.M. Clothing.  As soon as the pools open up your going to be needing a new swimsuit, and they have some sweet deals on board shorts and bikini’s, featuring suits by Angel Famagalli, as the only shop in the nation to carry her line. The secret to this store is that on any given day, its more of a playground for skaters and students than a store. Couches outside on hillsborough, 3 plasma tv’s and grind rails donated by the local skate kids, In the Wave promises to be as entertaining as it is your one-stop shop for Surf and Skate gear.
