Buck Wild reinvents an old venue into a new hotspot! Failure after failure in what seemed to be a doomed venue, the ole" building that housed the University bars such as The Graduate, and Tipsey"s, is now about to finally see its long awaited success. Opening this weekend as the University"s only Country music concert venue, Buck Wild is going to bring the people in, get them partying, and staying for the music! With country acts such as Confederate Railroad coming in this Friday for the Grand Opening, Buck Wild is going to bring a crowd. The question is, will the folks that supported Graduate and Tipsey"s come out to give this venue another go around" I hope so considering that the owners of Buck Wild have put the time and effort into renovating the venue. It desperately needed an overhaul and Buck Wild is that and a whole lot more! With a brand new sports bar in the back room, two huge party patios, a brand new parking lot, and a dance/music hall that rivals Coyote Joes (no joke, the place is a lot bigger than it was), Buck Wild is sure to please! As you walk in the front door (Located in the front, the entrance isn"t the side door any longer) you will enter into the sports bar section, which is wall to wall plasma screens. A full bar will crank your first round out quick as you step into the huge music venue area. Here you listen to the brand new sound system built to satisfy a stadium, a bar that stretches the length of the whole damn building, and enough space to get around and not be bothered. Buck Wild is not going to be the over the top country spot either. The non-country loving folks in the University will fit in too. With the sports bar area and a mix of country and rock, the place will be a comfortable fit for most people who like to go out, have a good time, and not feel like their shorts and t-shirt are under dressed. I don"t know about you, but I think this will be my new hot spot in the University area. We will see you there this Thursday-Saturday for their Grand Opening weekend. Tickets are available at the door the day of the event only so show up early!
