  Fashion in Charlotte We can all hopefully agree that wearing your sunglasses at night is over the top, especially inside a Charlotte nightclub. Sorry Cory Heart, sunglasses are for the daytime. I will be the first to admit that I am no fashion expert. My only insight into fashion comes from a quarterly magazine called GQ that weighs more than my laptop. Hundreds of pages try to spell out what is in and where to buy it. The only problem is I have a slight hang up with spending over a thousand bucks on one single outfit, which is about every suggestion in their publication. So, what am I left with" The nightlife industry is one huge ongoing fashion show. Nightclubs are calling their new dress codes "fashion forward" attire. Well for people like me who"s code of fashion ethics is solely based on not wearing black and brown in the same outfit is probably out of luck. You might get in, but you are not going to look as fashionable as the next guy. Most of the time, I am ok with that. I can wear Wrangler jeans and feel good. However, there are times I dress it up. My issue is where in Charlotte should you go to get "fashion forward" attire without sucking the life out of your bank account" There are places around town that sell great clothes, sure, but who wants to pay $150 for a shirt, and even more for a pair of jeans.
