It would not be an over statement to say that this week's kick-off of the Bacardi Mojitos & Stilettos: Ladies Night at Chima event series was the busiest the lounge at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse has ever been.

The lavish and sleek environment played host to many of Charlotte's Uptown after-work socialites this Wednesday evening from 5-10:30pm. As you come into the restaurant a huge spiral staircase leads you up to the upstairs lounge. Beautiful view overlooking Tryon St. and comfortable lounge tables set the mood as the deep house lounge music set the atmosphere.
DJ RED, a Charlotte long time DJ and lover of house music, was impressed with Chima's space inside. "When I first drove by I didnt really know what to expect... I was expecting a hotel bar type of feel. This is a warm and welcoming lounge that really has great potential."

As the lounge started to fill in early in the evening guests order from the $1.95 appetizer menu. Plates of meat that would dominate other restaurant's entrees, the appetizer menu was a huge hit.

Moving forward into next week's promotion Chima plans to double the server staff to accommodate the event.
