I can remember back in the day making it a weekly ritual to have SUNDAY FUNDAY! Theres nothing like getting together with your crew to discuss the shenanigans and debauchery from the previous night. For those people like me who work all weekend, and dont have the chance to go out and party harty like the rest, SUNDAYS are my savior!
Here are a few of the best places around Charleston to get your fix on bottomless mimosas and incredible brunches!
Triangle Bar and Grill
828 Savannah Highway
By far my favorite! Great crowd for a Sunday. Awesome atmosphere with huge bar, tables, tons of tv's and BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS for $10. Food is just as amazing with their huge selection of benedicts and omlettes.
Moe's Downtown/Crosstown
5 Cumberland Street/ 714 Rutledge Avenue
"Went to Moes this summer on more than one occasion just for some beers. Decided to check out the menu one Friday night and had the Black & Blue burger. Best I have ever had. I have even tried to replicate it at home and cannot. Also stopped by for Sunday brunch by accident. What a surprise! The blue berry pancakes are out of this world! And the bloody mary's..... it just doesn't get any better than this."

Three Little Birds
65 Windermere Blvd
"Think of it as going to breakfast at your aunt's house, the aunt that went to culinary school and worked as a sous chef in the City for a few years. Now imagine your aunt has fresh, local ingredients delivered to her house every morning....and she enjoys nothing more than when you show up hungry for a home-cooked breakfast. Neither you nor her are overly concerned with an artsy presentation or unique plating techniques - you both value high-quality ingredients enhanced by skilled preparation."

Fat Hen
3140 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island, SC 29455
"The Fat Hen is a favorite dinner spot for my wife and me. We love the food and the service is always friendly and professional. After reading the reviews about brunch, we were apprehensive about trying it. However, we made a reservation for a party of seven and were pleasantly surprised. Upon arriving we were sat promptly, even though the restaurant was very busy. We enjoyed everything immensely. I started off with the house smoked salmon; served with a bagel, cream cheese, onion and capers topped off with crème fraiche. The salmon was smoked to perfection and the combination was delicious. Our guest ordered pistou mussels, garlic, basil, and olive oil in a white wine sauce and said they were the best mussels they had ever tasted. Soon after our entrees arrived and again we were not disappointed, everything was wonderful.
Everyone in our party enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the service. The Fat Hen is now also a favorite brunch spot!"

Poogans Porch
72 Queen St, Charleston, SC 29401
All of the food is exceptionala down-home brunch of eggs, biscuits and gravy and grits is all you need for the dayalthough someone at the table should order the sweet potato pancakes!

Hominy Grill
207 Rutledge Ave, Charleston, SC 29403
"There is a good reason why the former food editor for the NY Times states that this is his favorite restaurant in the country. It is perfect. No doubt, no argument, just plain fact. So what is so great about grits? Well, if you have never had them and do not have the fortune of living close enough to this restaurant, you may want to try them somewhere else first, so that you have something to compare it to. Otherwise, you may be under the misconception that grits everywhere taste like this!
In our three days in Charleston, we ate here all three days, and actually contemplated eating here twice in one day it is that good.
So what are you waiting for? Get your grit on at the Hominy Grill!"

Sweetwater Cafe
801 Folly Rd
"Cozy, cute cafe on James Island, perfect for a lazy Sunday brunch with a fat newspaper. Good omelets and grits, usually served with fresh fruit (big plus) and a smile. Dining room is pretty small, so expect to wait if you roll up at 11:30 on weekends."
