Every year I am asked a million times what I am doing for New Year’s Eve (NYE)...
I am like everyone else in Charlotte. I rarely ever know what my plans are until a few days before the ball drops. It is never because I am not informed of what parties are out there. Rather, I never know what my friends have committed to doing. That is the problem, getting all your friends to commit to one party early enough.

In past years my friends and I have done the nice dinner out somewhere then to someone’s house. We have done the nightclub vip tables in years past. Probably the years I enjoyed the most were when we would travel to a city none of us had ever been to before and caught a big all-inclusive event (Washington, DC has a HUGE all-inclusive NYE event every year that comes personally recommended). Those were the times you could really cut loose and do something stupid and not worry about it.

For all those reading, I don’t know what I will do this year. Whatever it is, there will be a story to tell the next morning. There always is.
