I checked out Robin Hood the day it came out at Cinebarre and of course, I had my fill of great food and an entire pitcher of beer. It was great. I love the mix of eating and watching a movie at a reasonable price.
Overall, I will agree with Screen Rant when they say the movie was done well but doesn't tell the story you want to see.
In my opinion, when you think of Robin Hood, you think of a story of Robin Hood and the Merry Men stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Ridley Scott's version apparently took it back in time a bit more to do some character building of Robin Hood and how he became an outlaw.
The problem with that was the movie became so long, Scott didn't have a chance to actually depict the giving to the poor part! I felt like I just watched a really long TV show and the end was just a cliff hanger to next week's episode.
I do have to give Cinebarre some credit, I can not imagine seeing a movie in a different theater after having the luxury of a good quality burger and beer at a decent price. You will not find that at regular movie theaters!
