Mez Welcomes Celebrity Mixologist Adam Seger at “Spice Alchemist” Spirited Tasting Event.Sept. 29 Event Features Tasting Stations by Chef Anoosh Shariat
Mez is proud to welcome celebrity mixologist Adam Seger for a spirited tasting event celebrating spiced cocktails on Wednesday, Sept. 29. Seger, who is the founder and mixologist for Chicago-based hum Spirits Company and cocktail advisor for Lettuce Entertain You, will present a menu of creative cocktails featuring imaginative ingredients like jalapeño, Thai basil and cardamom. Cocktails will be accompanied by chef Anoosh Shariat’s cuisine, available at tasting stations throughout the evening. The “Spice Alchemist” cocktail tasting will be held on the mezzanine level from 7 to 9 p.m. The price to attend is $20 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Space is limited. About Adam Seger: Adam Seger is a certified culinary professional and advanced sommelier as well as an alumnus of world-renowned restaurants TRU, Strasbourg’s Michelin Star Chez Julien and The French Laundry. His unique approach at the bar has earned him such titles as “The Charlie Trotter of Cocktails” by New City and “Spirits Guru” by Food & Wine and Fast Company.
