The eyes of the world have been on focused on Japan since an earthquake and tsunami devastated the country on March 11. To help with relief efforts, StrikeCity is hosting a fundraiser this Thursday, April 14.
The fundraiser takes place from 5 p.m. until close in the Queen City room, and 10% of sales will be donated to the American Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan. StrikeCity is located on the main level of EpiCentre, 210 E Trade Street in uptown Charlotte.
The images and stories from Japan over the past month have been so surreal, said StrikeCity Operating Partner James White. Our hearts go out to the people of Japan and everyone at StrikeCity is just compelled to help out in any way possible.
At StrikeCity you get more than just strikes, spares and 7-10 splits. StrikeCity is the next generation of bowling, taking traditional elements of the sport and kicking it up a notch with modern lanes, sleek amenities and state-of-the-art scoring. In addition to world-class bowling, StrikeCity offers dozens of flat screen televisions throughout the venue, a delicious menu from Librettos Authentic NYC Pizza and Italian Kitchen that goes beyond traditional bowling alley food standards, and a fully-stocked bar with an extensive beer list all in a stylish and comfortable setting. Located at the EpiCentre in uptown Charlotte, StrikeCity is the perfect place to challenge your friends to a ten pin showdown, host your next group outing, have a few drinks or catch the big game. StrikeCity is more than a bowling alley its an experience.
