North Carolinas largest food festival is set to return for its 13th Year in the streets of uptown Charlotte. The event, which drew approximately 100,000 visitors last year, offers a mix of family entertainment, unique shopping, live music, kids activities, a wide array of specialty beer and fine wine along with more than 100 menu items for sampling from a collection of Charlottes hottest restaurants. There is no cost for admission to Taste of Charlotte. Food samples and beverages can be purchased with festival coins.

Tryon Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and Sixth Street
When: Friday, June 10th 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday, June 11th 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday, June 12th 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. *Taste of Charlotte is open rain or shine.
Planned Attractions Include:
Kids Activities in the Crossroads Presented by Amtrak: Interactive play areas with adventurous activities for children of all ages. From Bull Rides & Climbing Walls to Bounce Houses & Obstacle Courses. All games use Coins, not cash.
The MarketPlace: An eclectic open air shopping experience featuring handcrafted original designs from home accents to custom jewelry .with a new location at 3rd & Tryon.
Tavern at the Taste Presented by New Belgium: A unique tavern offering a wide selection of wines, microbrews and specialty beers, as well as live music and a special dining area.
Center Stage: Featuring local & regional bands playing your favorite 80s, 90s pop, rock, blue grass and country music. Also enjoy local groups performing throughout the entire weekend including belly dancing, cheerleaders and school groups! Be sure to check out the inter
Taste of Charlotte will be recycling: Recycling containers can be found throughout the site at the Taste. Plastic & Aluminum beverage bottles can be recycled in the PepsiCo Recycling Kiosks. People who recycle their beverage containers in kiosks can redeem points they collect and receive awards when they visit www.greenopolis.com.
