With the end of 2011 on the horizon, nearly everyone is getting amped up for New Years celebrations in the Carolinas. Charleston will be one of the great locations for kicking off the New Year. There will be great options at bars, restaurants and other nightlife options complete for an excellent time to celebrate the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012.
One of the great events will take place over at the Platinum Ball New Years Party. This $100 dollar event will take place in downtown Charleston at the old IMAX theatre in the Hippodrome. The second annual celebration will look to blend music, fashion and film. Options for attendees will include full price VIP booth reservations, as well as other all-inclusive options.
The Mad River Bar and Grille in downtown will also offer a great New Years celebration options for $100. Their 2011-2012 Celebration will include a top shelf open bar, as well as hand passed hors doeuvres, a midnight champagne toast. An all inclusive price will also feature an excellent DJ spinning good tunes throughout the night. The night will be topped by an ice luge sculpted on site.
Club Light will be holding another one of the great events in Charleston on New Years Eve. Also located in the downtown area, the celebration will take place on East Bay Street with doors opening at 8pm. VIP booths are being offered, as well as $10 champagne bottles for guests. The house DJ will be spinning remixes and top 40 hits throughout the night.
The downtown area and other parts of Charleston will be offering up plenty of great options for New Years. Staying in for a party at a Charleston apartment or home could be nice, but dont take any chances. Make sure your New Years Eve this year is worthwhile and highly enjoyable. There will also be some great restaurant options for those interested in a good meal to bring in the New Year.
One great restaurant event will take place at Circa 1886 with their celebration. There will be 6:30pm and 9:30pm seating available for all interested parties, as reservations will be required in advance. The $100 price will include a five course meal, as well as a large glass of champagne to celebrate the night. Circa 1886 is located inside of the Wentworth Mansion in the downtown area, as some rooms may still be available for stay as well.
Certainly there are a ton of other options lined up for New Years celebrations for 2011-2012 here in Charleston. Most all of them will have a sublime mix of class, food , drinks, music and fun to ring in the New Year.
