BackFired up Against Cancer!

Five Lowcountry bands are jamming to further cancer awareness during a music-filled evening Friday, Aug. 21 at The Windjammer on Isle of Palms. Proceeds from the event will go to Roper St. Francis Cancer Center and Dragon Boat Charleston.
Headlining the event will be The Fire Apes, joined by Almost Brothers Band, Hed Shop Boys, Super Deluxe and Steel Petals. The Fire Apes are performing for the first time since recording their new, self-titled Extended Play (EP). Their music has been compared to The Beatles, The Kinks and The Pretenders.
