The Queen City Shootout pits the area’s most cunning poker minds against current NFL players, NASCAR drivers and other local celebrities all competing for the grand prize – a paid seat at the World Series of Poker Tournament Main Event in Las Vegas. Celebrities who participated in previous Queen City Shootouts include Denny Hamlin, Jonathan Stewart, Jon Beason, Boris Diaw, Frank Garcia, Ric Flair and 2004 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Greg Raymer.

Individual and spectator tickets will be available for purchase beginning September 12. In addition to the grand prize seat at the World Series of Poker, the Queen City Shootout will also host two live auction packages and the highest placing female will receive a stunning diamond bracelet.

Located at EpiCentre, 210 East Trade Street in uptown Charlotte, Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Whisky River and SUITE will both host tables at the 2011 Queen City Shootout. Net proceeds from the Shootout will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, while net proceeds from the live auction packages will benefit Alexander Youth Network.
