BackChi Phi House

Truth, Honesty, and Personal Integrity are the three core values upon which Chi Phi is built. Dating back to December 24, 1824 to the present day, lies a group of men of common purposes, living, playing, and studying together, with an underlying feeling of deep friendship.

Being the first social Fraternity, Chi Phi understands what it takes to be successful. Along with honing a group of ideal and select men, we at UNC Charlotte are privileged to offer a prestigious and unique property, comprising of a historic 3-story house, a swimming pool, a volleyball court, and a basketball court. However, we continue to put our strongest emphasis on developing a well-rounded group of individuals.

Year after year, thousands of students enter and pass through college without exploring the numerous benefits of a social organization. Albeit a social organization may not appeal to everyone, its founding principles bear the essence of humanity. From Sorority mixers, to community service events, to Greek Week and intramural sports, the advantages of joining a fraternity are both enduring and unparalleled.

In addition to our intellectual goals, we strive to help the community. Taking place on our 2+ acres of land, Chi Phi is renowned for our annual Haunted House, which is co-sponsored by one of the sororities. This is one of the many events accentuating the capabilities of a brotherhood, while maintaining a fun and frivolous atmosphere.

By symbolizing our founding principals and striving to become stronger individuals, we can become better men, better leaders, and better citizens. By upholding these values through chivalrous behavior, success for the individual as well as the Fraternity can forever be seen.
