Char is located in downtown Boone on Howard Street in a magnificent building with your choice of dining areas, such as a covered deck, romantic red room, elegant blue bistro room, or their sleek zinc bar. No matter where you are sitting you will get the same great service and delectable food. Char has a variety of menu options that cover all your basics from seafood to steaks to vegetarian. House favorites include their signature Low-country Shrimp and Grits and classic Black n' Blue Ribeye with onion rings . They also have nightly specials that run every week such as All You Can Eat Crab Legs on Tuesdays and Half-priced Bottles of Wine on Wednesdays. For you college students and faculty they offer 10% off all food purchases with proper ID.
